A retro video game themed dual switch with a ton of personality. The Sidekick Retro comes with custom made translucent toppers that glow vibrantly thanks to the built in LED ringlights. Compatible with most devices that require the use of a dual switch. We also have a variant compatible with most Boss pedals with a dual switch input.

1. Is this compatible with my device?
By default, it is compatible with any device that uses a TRS dual switch with Normally Closed (NC) momentary switches. For a few Boss devices that require a Normally Open momentary switch, please select the option “for boss” on our online storesPM us to arrange a Boss compatible variant. However, newer Boss devices will have a polarity option and these devices will work with the default option as well.
2. How do the LEDs/lights work? Can you control/assign colors for the lights?
The lights are by default Red and Blue and momentarily change color when pressed (Red becomes Blue and Blue becomes Red). The colors are fixed and cannot be controlled.
3. Does it need power?
It uses a 9V center negative PSUthe standard PSUs used for most guitar pedals. That said, it will work without a power supply, just with no LED lights.
4. How do you use it? / How is it connected?
It uses a ¼ inch TRS cable (sold separately) to function. To program the functions, please consult your pedal’s manual. It can function as an additional FS, Tap/Tempo, Bank up and down etc depending on your device’s capabilities.
